Baba Sheikh Farid highlights the paradox that humans enjoy sowing hurdles for others but desire abundance in return. He further says that one is always exhibiting self as outstanding and ostracizes few never realising that the Trued Divine has powers to swap the virtues. He uses a metaphor of crow and swan to explain it.
This has inspired the artist to create this embroidered artwork with Mohd Shafi, Israr and Mehjabi to express the importance of metaphor Baba Sheikh Farid. The Bani is embroidered in shapes that represents the metaphor. Each Bani has a message of Oneness and love and that’s the path to be closer to the Eternal one ੴ.
