Metaphor of nature is prime in Baba Nanak's verses and enlightens about the importance of each element in our lives. Baba Nanak in his Bani talks of nature and also explains importance of Guru, Father and Mother. पवणु गुरू पाणी पिता माता धरति महतु ॥ दिवसु राति दुइ दाई दाइआ खेलै सगल जगतु ॥ He uses metaphor of air for Guru, one cannot survive without him, he is in the knowledge not in iconography. One cannot see the air same for the Guru. Water is like father, that is the main component of ones being (body), its free and gives one sustenance, respect water like a father. Earth is like mother, greatest bestower of love and caretaker, it gives you all. Nature with sun and moon is the nurturer where and life just an act under them.
 
These artworks become One with the nature and are an attempt to instil the essence of this Bani of Baba Nanak. It has been gracefully and lovingly embroidered in zardosi and chikankari with name of the Divine सत नाम.
 
This has inspired the artist to create this embroidered artwork with Mehjabi and Shafi to have self realisation about the One Name behind all aspects of the Divine. Bani takes us into the world of Baba Nanak. This Bani with its full grace has been lovingly embroidered in zardosi and chikankari with various name of the Divine to express the faith in his words.
