Imagining Baba Nanak in the content of his immortal Shabads my mind is what created his imagery for me. We imagine him as Master of Love through his shabad and thats inseperable. Nanak is in his Shabad and Shabad is in him. This has inspired me to create this embroidered artwork with Mehjabi to have self realisation about the being friend to all . "Na Ko Bairi Nahi Begana, Sagal Sang Hamko Ban Ayi" I see my Nanak in these lines and he guided us to achieve the Ek-Onkar: One Divine ੴ .
Baba Nanak proposed Ek Onkar as One Divine and its synonymous with him. One Divine is the only eternal truth and will always remain so. Baba Nanak is an epitome of spreading love without any discrimination and thats the way he suggests to be one with the Divine. The return for all the blessings He bestows is being good to humans and following the path of truth. The Divine himself will liberate you if you are honest, compassionate and thankful. साचा साहिबु सच नाव भाखिआ भाव अपार, आखहि मंगहि देह देह दात करे दातार, फेरि कि अगै रखीऐ जितु दिसै दरबार। मुहौ कि बोलणु बोलीऐ जितु सुणि धरे पियार, अमृत वेला सच नाव वडिआई वीचारु, करमी आवै कपड़ा नदरी मोख दुआरु, नानक एवै जाणीऐ सभु आपे सचिआरु। The true Name of वाहेगुरु- Supreme Lord is achieved with love and that illuminated the light of the Divine(Sat Naam) within us.
Bani takes us into the world of Baba Nanak. This Bani with its full grace has been lovingly embroidered in zardosi and chikankari with name of the Divine सत नाम, वाहेगुरु to express the faith in his words.
